I know, what a great title.
I had an art assignment to make a pencil drawing of a photo with the values inverted. I did that, but I couldn't get a decent scan or photo (I may try again). So I inverted the scan, so the the value would look like the original photo. It looks really cool. It looks like a scratchboard. It really emphasizes my crazy shading on the unfocused leaves. This was one of the first few times I tried to actually do the background. I didn't succeed, but I tried. I'm semi-proud of this so I decided to share.
Medium: HB, 2B, 4B, 6B pencil drawing on cardstock that was scanned and then inverted digitally
Size: 8.5 x 11 in.
Time: At least 6 hours
